Erika Köth (1925-1989), German operatic high coloratura soprano.
Who saw this exceptionally playful singer in the ”Barber of Seville”, as ”Figaro” - Susanna or Zerlina in ”Don Giovanni” light-footed and quickly across the width of the opera stage, had no idea of the painful long time Erika Köth had to suffer as a child to achieve this mobility. At the age of eight, she contracted polio. And she needed eight years to overcome the consequences of paralysis with discipline and an iron will. She had long had to give up the dream job of dancer, now she wanted to go to the theater as a singer. After solid training she won - together with Christa Ludwig - in 1947 a by Frankfurt Radio, today's Hessian Broadcasting, announced singing competition. She sang one of the heaviest soprano parts of all: The Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute. It was then in her career, the role with which she conquered the world cities of music. 278 times she was on stage with it. For a long time, the works of Mozart and Strauss formed the center of their repertoire. However, her design of the title role in ”Lucia di Lammermoor” became a real sensation. The photos compiled here bring to life the memory of these highlights of Erika Köth's vocal art. This includes her operetta songs. More intimately than by Erika Köth, Lehárs ”Friederike” has probably never been sung. This is a blissful affirmation of what Der Spiegel wrote in his obituary: ”It was never a soulless gurgling virtuoso”. And that is why Erika Köth will continue to live not only in the memory, but also in the hearts of her listeners.

Извините, я не понял - так камерная музыка будет или нет? И можно ли не скачивать первые 4 диска? Они во втором издании, если это расширенное переиздание, должны же быть?
Слово "Membran" на ковриках отсутствует. The Intense Media какая-то. У 10-ки оформление какое-то аляповатое, как будто самопал. Забрал и первый комплект. У него оформление построже и посимпатичней. Спасибо!
