The castrato Farinelli and the librettist Metastasio were two of the outstanding musical personalities of the 18th century. It is little known that she had a close friendship all her life. In their many years of correspondence, they always spoke to each other with "Caro Gemello" - a sign of their deep artistic connection. The pays tribute now to the celebrated worldwide countertenor Valer Sabadus and the Old Music Ensemble Concerto Cologne under the album title "Caro Gemello".
