The first Yugoslav early music ensemble was born on the 11th of April 1969. "Renaissance" studies and performs music from the early Middle Ages (8th c.) to the Early Baroque (beg. of the 17th c.) on historical instruments, dressed into authentic costumes. By virtue of their enthusiastic and captivating style, their music and their concerts have become appreciated by a very wide audience. Numerous concerts in Yugoslavia and abroad: Helsinki, Province, Hungary, Nikossia, Limasol, Paris, Damascus, Aleppo, Torino, W. Germany, Rome, Bulgaria... Radio, TV, film-music, records, cassettes... On their third LP "Renaissance" presents a programme of the "numbers" their audience has appreciated the most in the past fifteen years (this text was conceived in 1984).
