Barbara Hendricks celebrates its 70th birthday at the end of 2018. An American soprano singer who has become very popular, especially in France, Barbara Hendricks first of all seduces thanks to her unique, clear and warm, fragile and sunny timbre. On the occasion of this anniversary, Sony Classical gives back some treasures of its catalog. Far from claiming to produce an exhaustive career tribute, the recital "The Voice of the Sun" offers an original musical journey, a journey through time, suspended by works and their voice.
