indeed. But Telemann was in his lifetime the most famous composer in Europe, not only in the Holy German Empire. As he died, whole Europe mourned. For example J.S. Bach was "third choice" for the new Thomaskantor in Leipzig. But... I corrected it in your sense.

For personal use I also named this concert "Bach und Kollegen". You can read it, if you use foobar 2000 as your favorite player on your computer.

Yes, you are right. Bach was not as well-known as, for example,Telemann while his life. Although now it sounds like nonsence.

Это понятно, только в программе 2 произведения Телемана и 4 Баха, причём последнее ещё и на бис играли, значит акцент на Бахе.

Интересно, что Андреас Стайер использовал старинное фортепиано в концерте 1055. Таким образом получилось некое подобие соревнования клавесина в 1056 и фортепиано, как в ярком концерте его сына (КФЭ Бах) Wq 47.
It is interesting that Andreas Staier used in BWV 1055 Hammerclavier. As a consequence of it there was some kind of a competition between harpsichord in BWV 1056 and Hammerklavier like the brilliant concert Wq47 of Bach's second son, CPE Bach, for harpsichord and hammerklavier.

Andreas Staier should perform one concert on fortepiano, because the polish festival line (the organizers) wanted it. Staier fullfilled this wish.

Thank you very much for your nice covers and your kindly comment. Did you burn the applauses on your CD or not? Or do you dislike live music on CD?

As I was a young boy I disliked Deep Purple's studio version "Smoke on the water", but live from "Made in Japan" I liked it very much. Since that time I always prefer live music in good sound quality. Foo Fighters live at 'Rock am Ring 2015' or a nice choir concert in an old church, I like both kinds of music - live.

The concert might not fit on the CD with the applause. Actually I prefer life symphonic music.

You can burn it without errors on CD-R with 700 MB space (max. time is 81.25 min.). You will get a warning message. Ignore it and burn the CD-R with (slow) speed of 16. I'm sure, you will get a very good result and not a destroyed CD burner.

I know about overburning, but don't want to risk. Once more, much obliged for the unique concert!

You can also use a 800 MB CD-R. Runtime is 90 min., but you can burn 91 min. without any risk. I tried all out: a 93 min. concert failed. But not my burner was destroyed. I can't play the last song from this concert on my CD player, because the part of this last track wasn't closed by the CD burner.

I checked it. I had difficulties with track 4. I decoded this file (once more) to track 04b (in the same folder - flac, level 8) with foobar 2000. After than I can burn it without any problems on CD-R 700 MB.
